Note from artists Bonnie Gold Bell and David Sun Todd:

In 1998, we began to meditate on the emergence of global being. When we see ourselves as human-spirit cells in a conscious, living world, how does that change our awareness and our bodies? Out of this meditation, we created a series of 64 images and text called The GaiaStar Codex: Seeds of a Turned-on World. In this slide show you’ll read phrases from the Codex mixed with mandalas and goddess icons from the Codex and some of our other visual series.

"The collective message of the Codex images is this: global being feels good. Seeing that not only every person, but every animal, plant and rock in the Gaiasphere is part of your full identity, you relax into the ‘us’-experience. Not only are you embracing the living world in a new way, but it is embracing you. The evolutionary pleasure this stimulates can further your emergence."
- The GaiaStar Codex, p. 8.

All our mandalas begin with real objects—rocks, flowers, feathers and stars. The fanciful faces and patterns you may see in them arise from natural elements themselves. The images also carry uplifting vibrational messages that we call "SeedSongs". Just as seeds in plants carry both nutrition and DNA code for their unfolding, the seed-code in these images supports the unfolding of our individual and collective identity.

As you gaze on these images, let your whole being take them in. In that space of openness, you can absorb the SeedSongs that radiate through the mandalas. Some of the vibrations feed your body and mind, while others touch your soul. We hope these Earth images bring you blessings for your evolutionary journey.
